Hamilton location of popular burger chain closes its doors

Hamilton now has one less spot to grab a loaded burger and fresh-cut fries.
Five Guys Burgers & Fries is a popular fast food chain that sets itself apart by making everything to-order using fresh toppings and ingredients, resulting in a higher-quality burger than many of its corporate counterparts.
Hamilton was, until recently, home to two Five Guys locations: one on Stone Church in Stoney Creek, and the other on Centennial Parkway North. Sadly, the latter of the two has permanently closed its doors.
Signage has been removed and windows have been covered up at the former 518 Centennial Parkway North storefront. It’s not clear exactly when the location quietly closed, but it appears to have occurred within the past few weeks.
Five Guys lovers in Hamilton still have one remaining location to get their fix at 1807 Stone Church Road East, right across the street from Cineplex Hamilton Mountain.
