Hamilton named one of Canada’s most vegan friendly cities

Vegan eaters have a rich volume of choice in Hamilton, according to a new nationwide ranking of Canada’s most vegan friendly cities.
The ranking was released by BonusFinder Canada and compared Canadian cities on the quality and quantity of their vegan and plant-based food offerings.
Hamilton ranked #2 on the top 10 list, with Victoria in first place. Other cities on the list include London City, Windsor, Ottawa, Calgary, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Saskatoon, and Mississauga.
For those who know Hamilton’s vegan scene, the rating shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. The city is known for having a diverse array of plant-based eateries and food purveyors, with cafes like Planted and Democracy, comfort food spots like The Hearty Hooligan and Bring Me Some, and grocers like Coven Marketplace.
These spots manage to tick all the boxes: great vibes and terrific food, without a scrap of meat or dairy in sight.
