Hamilton Poetry Centre reading this Thursday

If you’re a fan of poetry, you’ll definitely want to mark this down.
On Thursday, May 10, you can come join the Hamilton Poetry Centre for their annual open reading.
The Hamilton Poetry Centre works to support artists and encourage the writing and appreciation of poetry in Hamilton. Established in 1983, the Hamilton Poetry Centre conducts writing workshops and host readings across the city.
The annual open reading will take place at Redchurch Café & Gallery. Redchurch will be opening their doors to all poetry centre members and other word enthusiasts at 6:30 pm, with readings taking place between 7 and 9 pm.
Looking to read your work on stage? You can register at 6:45 pm for a 5 minute slot.
But of course if you just want to listen and take in the work of the talents around you, all are welcome to attend and see what Hamilton Poetry Centre is all about.
Refreshments such as alcoholic drinks, pop, and food will be available for purchase.
