Hamilton’s Roma Bakery launches unique pop-up dining experiences

One of Hamilton’s most beloved longstanding bakeries has got something new cooking, and it’s not one of their iconic bread pizzas.

Roma Bakery & Deli, a local fixture for over 70 years, has launched something called Sorella: a new branch of the business that specializes in nomadic pop-up food events showcasing the best of what Roma has to offer.

“We’ve created Sorella, the sister brand of Roma Bakery, to elevate our staple products in new and innovative ways,” says Roma.

The first event will be an intimate five-course tasting meal hosted inside one of Hamilton’s oldest standing Italian restaurants, The Trocadero. With seating for only 30 guests, this pilot pop-up will feature culinary twists on classic Roma Bakery bites.

Tickets for Sorella’s first event – taking place on June 17th at 7 pm – include a full-service plated meal, and two alcoholic beverages per person.

This feels like an exciting new way for one of Hamilton’s long-established food icons to branch out, and we can’t wait to see the results!
