Hamilton’s scariest haunted house is back for Halloween

Brave Hamiltonians looking for the truest of frights need to wait no longer: the city’s scariest homegrown haunted house is back and more terrifying than ever.

Nightmare on Elmore, the increasingly popular and increasingly frightening Hamilton-based haunted house, is returning to Gage Park from October 25th to 31st for those seeking some Halloween thrills.

The demented brain child of Hamilton illusionist Chris Turchi, Nightmare on Elmore has been scaring Hamilton for over a decade, setting up shop with its house of horrors in Gage Park each year and daring locals to enter.

While the nasty surprises within are a secret, there are also two versions of Nightmare on Elmore presented each evening: a family-friendly variation is hosted from 3 pm to 7 pm, before things get kicked up a couple of notches from 8 pm to 11 pm with the addition of live actors who can’t wait to totally freak you out.

Bring your bravest buds down to Gage Park and step through the doors of Nightmare on Elmore… if you dare!

Nightmare on Elmore runs at Gage Park every night from Friday October 25th to Thursday October 31st, with a family-friendly version from 3 pm to 7pm and a higher intensity version with live actors from 8 pm to 11 pm. More details can be found on their Facebook page.
