It’s Your Festival returns for Canada’s 156th Birthday

Hamilton’s annual It’s Your Festival is returning just in time for Canada Day!
The festival will be held at Gage Park from July 1st to 3rd with different shows and activities scheduled each day.
This Canada Day celebration will be hosted by the non-profit organization Hamilton Folk Arts Heritage Council, an organization known for events in Hamilton that represent our heritage and culture.
Performances will be held at the Bandshell Stage including Dundas Pipes and Drums, The Six Nations Smoke Dancers, Barvinok Ukrainian School of Dance, STEELE, Kostas Greek Music, The Pistolettes, an official Canada Day ceremony, and many more.
There will also be a stage set up with performances from new music artists such as Two Families Band, Linebeck, Treading Zero, The Big Heavy, The Deadly Romantics, and more.
Besides these amazing performances, there will be many other fun activities!
There will be a Family Fun KidZone with activities like crafts, dance and sing-alongs, story time, games, a Canada Day cake, and a few other interactive activities.
The vendor lineup hasn’t been announced yet, but we do know that there will be food from around the world, arts and crafts vendors, as well as commercial and health and wellness booths.
This is a big deal for Hamilton as this is the first time this festival is back in full swing after the pandemic.
