Another visit to Hamilton for Justin Trudeau meant more heckles for the Canadian prime minister.
Trudeau visited Hamilton on Monday as part of his 2019 re-election campaign, but was met with even more jeers from protesters.
Last time the Prime Minister was in Hamilton he was also heckled by protesters during the Labour Day march. Trudeau had to leave and rejoin the march after the heckles had calmed down.
On Monday, Trudeau visited the city to announce a new pharmacare plan that would ensure every Canadian has a family doctor, prescription drugs and mental health services.
Yellow vest protesters greeted Trudeau before his announcement at the David Braley Health Science Centre.

Then, the Prime Minister’s announcement was interrupted by protesters against his support for oil and gas, and support of the Grassy Narrows reserve.

Trudeau arrived in Hamilton on Sunday to crowds of Liberal supporters and candidates who seemed ready to move on from the brownface and blackface scandals that dominated last week’s headlines.
After the Prime Minister’s announcement, he will spend the rest of his visit to Hamilton visiting local businesses with Hamilton East-Stoney Creek Liberal candidate Bob Bratina before moving on to a local bakery in Niagara Falls with Liberal candidate Andrea Kaiser.
