Earlier today it was confirmed that the boy band will deliver a three-minute speech at the 73 session of the UN General Assembly. In particular, the band will speak during the launch ceremony of UNICEF’s Generation Unlimited.
Various diplomats and leaders will be in attendance, including the first lady of South Korea Kim Jung-sook.
This is not the first time that BTS has worked with the UN on fundraising and awareness campaigns. In 2017, the boy band worked with UNICEF’s Korean Committee to establish Love Myself, a campaign against violence toward youth.
BTS will take the stage at FirstOntario Centre tonight at 8pm. Resale tickets are still available on Ticketmaster.
Both Saturday, September 22 and Sunday, September 23’s concerts begin at 6pm. Currently tickets are still available for resale but act fast!
