In terms of innovative new approaches to live performance, McMaster University’s LIVELab is leading the way in Hamilton.
Nothing could prove this better than LIVELab’s forthcoming presentation of Synaptic Rodeo, a multidisciplinary piece of live performance art that experimentally marries neuroscience, technology, and art. The show will be presented at McMaster for three performances on November 29th and 30th.
The result of a two-year residency at LIVELab featuring the local talents of choreographer Julia Aplin, playwright and performer Anna Chatterton, director Christopher Stanton, composer John Gzowski, and new media artist Jim Ruxton, Synaptic Rodeo will blend a fascinating neuroscience lecture with innovative live performance that makes use of LIVELab’s available technologies.
