Mexican spot Maria’s Tortas Jalisco announces new Stoney Creek location

One of Hamilton’s gems for delicious Mexican street food has found its new location.

Maria’s Tortas Jalisco, known for a menu of flavourful fare including tacos, birria, tamales, burritos, and more, announced a month ago that they’d be leaving behind their original location at 432 Highway 8 in Stoney Creek in search of a larger home for the business.

Thankfully, the wait for Maria’s Tortas Jalisco’s new location hasn’t been a long one, and the restaurant has announced on social media that they will soon be reopening at 438 Highway 8, Unit 1 in Stoney Creek; only a few doors down from their original location.

The exciting news puts any anxieties about Maria’s Tortas Jalisco leaving the Stoney Creek community to rest, and Maria says they are working as quickly as possible to get the new restaurant up and running soon.

While locals have to wait a bit longer for their next fix of this beloved spot’s Mexican street eats, the wait will be more than worth it!
