New Downtown Hamilton market has its soft opening today

A shiny new market for food, snacks, and more has its soft opening today in Downtown Hamilton. 

The Market on James is now open at 165 James Street South on the first level of new condo development The Greystone, offering what appears to be a hybrid of a convenience store plus a café and takeaway food spot. 

The interior offers up all your convenience store staples plus some grocery items: fresh produce, milk, chips, packaged snacks, ice cream, energy drinks, and much more. 

Those offerings are met by a café stall serving coffee, espresso, and smoothies; plus a ‘meals to go’ hot counter for takeaway eats including sandwiches, protein bowls, sushi, and beyond. 

It’s an exciting addition to the Corktown neighbourhood that has little in the way of grocery options, and we can’t wait to pay a first visit to the The Market on James!
