New spot for homemade gelato opens in Hamilton

Handmade gelato is the name of the game at a brand-new Hamilton spot for this Italian sweet treat.

Capri Gelateria has opened its doors at 13 Hatton Drive in Ancaster, directly beside delicious Italian bakery and shop Castelli Mercato, which is known for its incredible Roman and New York-style pizzas as well as baked goods like sfogliatelle and bomboloni. 

In fact, this new gelato spot functions as an extension of Castelli, which is itself an extension of the popular Italian restaurant of the same name on James Street North.

Expect a rotating selection of enticing homemade gelato in flavours like pistachio, ricotta & amarena, mango, and vegan chocolate sorbetto among others. 

Unlike many things this Labour Day Monday, Capri Gelateria is open for business; so if you’re craving something on the sweet side for this hot day, pop by at 13 Hatton Drive in Ancaster today from 12 pm to 8 pm and get your fix!
