New spot for tasty Korean food opens in Hamilton

Tasty Korean street food bites are on the menu at a new spot that recently opened in Hamilton.
Ami Meal Café is a new stand in the Hamilton Farmers’ Market that’s hard to miss. In fact, it’s the very first stand you’ll see if you enter the market at the York Boulevard doors.
A display case full of tempting bites catches the eye, with Ami specializing in grab-and-go fare including their range of tofu pouches, which see fried pockets of tofu loaded with flavourful fillings like beef bulgogi, gochujang pork, Korean BBQ chicken, and kimchi.
The simple menu also features triangle gimbap – snackable triangles of dried seaweed filled with similar goodness to the tofu pouches – plus a few Korean drinks to round things off.
Hamilton’s got some great options for authentic Korean food, and Ami Meal Café looks to offer something a little different! We can’t wait to check them out the next time we visit the Hamilton Farmers’ Market.
