Novemburger 2019 officially kicks off all over Hamilton

The wait is over, Hamilton. Novemburger 2019 is here, and it is spectacular.
If you don’t know much about the amazingness that is Novemburger, here’s a breakdown: each November, a slew of Hamilton restaurants pull out all the stops to craft their most inventively delicious and deliciously inventive burger creations. Those burgers are added to the restaurants’ menus for the month of November only, and Hamiltonians can vote on their favourite to be crowned champion.
Better still, proceeds from those burger sales go toward benefitting local charities! So tossing back a few (dozen) burgers this month is a decision you can feel extra good about.
True Hamilton foodies go all-out for Novemburger, making their way through the city and sampling each enticing entry for, you know, research. In past years, local spots have been known to whip out their A-game with exquisitely out-there ingredients that have included bourbon barrel-aged hot sauces, buns made from Roma Pizza slices, and panko-crusted soft-boiled eggs.
From the looks of this year’s line-up, Novemburger 2019 will be no different. Some eye-catching offerings this year include Harbour Diner’s Apple Smash Burger, which is sandwiched between a Grandad’s Donuts apple fritter; Nique Restaurant’s Cheezus is King, which looks like a Big Mac and a grilled cheese had a food baby; and The Jeffrey by HAMBRGR, which is loaded with jaw-dropping toppings like whiskey-braised beef short rib and house-made bourbon peach & onion jam.
But that’s not even the tip of the iceberg lettuce; the list for this year is stacked and there’s a Novemburger for everyone. Except for vegetarians. But if you’re a vegetarian, why are you even reading this?
