Popular Burlington pub and diner closes its doors

A family-run pub and diner in Burlington has sadly closed its doors.

Studebaker, located at 2535 Appleby Line, spent five years serving up pub-style comforts like burgers, tacos, chicken wings, quesadillas, salads, and so much more alongside a selection of craft beer and cocktails.

In early March, the restaurant posted a vague notice of closure “until further notice” on their social media and, mere days later, posted an update that the closure would be permanent.

“We are immensely grateful for your loyal patronage,” wrote Studebaker on Instagram.

“This decision wasn’t easy, but we close with gratitude for the amazing community that supported us.”

The restaurant’s final day of operation was February 29th, leaving locals surprised by the sudden announcement and the fact that they wouldn’t be able to visit Studebaker one final time.

A reason for the closure has not been publicly given.
