Spot for Laotian comfort food is opening in Hamilton

An intriguing new food spot is getting ready to open its doors in Hamilton. 

LaoHaus will be Hamilton’s only restaurant dedicated specifically to authentic Laotian cuisine, bringing a unique sort of food venture to a scene brimming with plenty of places for Italian or Southern-style barbecue.

While many details of this forthcoming restaurant are currently under wraps, a note on the LaoHaus Instagram page says that they will serve “Laotian-style comfort food with complex flavours and spice that’s just right.”

Expect dishes like beef laap – a Lao minced meat and herb salad that’s loaded with flavour – as well as hearty and fresh rice specialties, noodle dishes, vegan options, and so much more.
