John Scott is the owner and manager of Scotiabell Inc. operated out of Waterdown, and has been maintaining the Downtown City Centre clock tower for 12 or more years.
In late-summer, Producer Scott Summerhayes sought and was given the opportunity to follow John up the clock tower for a morning, watch and learn how it works, and experience the joy Mr. Scott has for his job.
“The Timekeeper” as they call him is one of the very few reachable people who have the skills and passion to maintain such a beautiful, original clock.
