This Hamilton funnel cake food truck now has a brick-and-mortar location

If you’ve been to a street festival in Hamilton, chances are you’ve come across the towering, eye-catching Festival Fun Food stand: a food truck offering creative carnival-inspired cuisine like corn dogs, deep fried pickles, pretzel dogs, and of course, their iconic funnel cakes.
Well, the popularity of Festival Fun Food has led them to opening a physical brick-and-mortar location right here in Hamilton, serving up an expanded menu of their festival fare on a regular, reliable basis.
Called Festival Café and located at 1013 King Street East, the physical location’s menu expands on what locals know and love about the food truck, adding some more savoury items like handcrafted burgers, fried chicken, chicken & waffles, wings, wraps, panzerottis, and beyond.

Of course, if you’re looking to get that elusive fix of funnel cake, Festival Café’s got the hookup. Funnel cakes are available with a wide variety of toppings and flavours like strawberry, peach, Nutella, frozen yogurt, whipped cream, chocolate, sprinkles, and ice cream.
Let’s face it: so many of us miss the excitement of going to festivals here in the city; but during a time where that’s pretty much impossible, Festival Café is helping to bring a piece of that experience to Hamilton’s regular food scene. Check them out at 1013 King Street East!
