This weekend is going to feel like 34° in Hamilton

Fall fans and summer stans are going to have very different feelings about the weather forecast in Hamilton this coming weekend.

After Hamilton saw a relatively cool, crisp week that had locals eagerly breaking out their best autumn scarves and flannel, The Weather Network reports that local heat and humidity levels will feel as warm as 34°C this coming weekend; not exactly the news many wanted to hear after a week of getting psyched up for a season of apple picking and pumpkin-spiced everything.

According to The Weather Network’s current weekend forecast, Saturday is expected to be mainly sunny, starting at 16° in the morning and reaching a sweaty high of 28° and feeling like 34° by mid-afternoon. Saturday evening will remain mainly clear and temperatures will drop slightly to around 20°. Get ready to toss on some shorts and crank that AC!

Sunday is expected to be pretty much the same, with temperatures rising to the same summery high of 28° by mid-afternoon. By late afternoon and evening, Sunday showers are forecasted that will carry into Monday and (hopefully) break the heat and humidity a little bit coming into the work week.

While the weekend forecast may put a damper on some early autumn plans, the heatwave will at least give Hamiltonians a few final days to bask in the sun or kick back on local patios before they close up shop for the season. After that, let’s hope we get to see the full Fall season we all deserve!
