Tommy Stinson, a member of the iconic band The Replacements, is performing a rare solo show at This Ain’t Hollywood on December 8th.
I’m as surprised as you! Hey I’m playing with Tommy Stinson in Hamilton on Dec 8th, with a former Doughboy – as the Killboys! Haha

Though Stinson is probably best known as the bass player in The Replacements, he has also performed with other legendary bands such as Guns N’ Roses.
The Replacements were a rock act that came to prominence in the 1980s. They were known for their live shows and had a reputation of playing concerts of all covers. The unpredictability of their shows combined with frequent intoxication made them a must-see live band.
The band is often credited with starting the alternative rock movement that became popular in the 1990s. Their albums Tim, Let It Be and Pleased to Meet Me are often included on best album lists of the decade and genre.
Stinson began writing solo material in the late 1990s and made the album Village Gorilla Head on which he played most of the instruments. In 2011, Stinson announced his second solo album One Man Mutiny.
Currently, he is working on multiple recording projects and is on a rare run of shows in Canada and the United States.
Stinson will be supported by Killboys and DJ Gunner at This Ain’t Hollywood on December 8th. Doors are at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available here.
