Weekend events in Hamilton August 18-19 2018

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Look no further. We’ve found a wide range of events across the city for all ages and interests to enjoy.

Here’s what’s happening in Hamilton this weekend.

Saturday

Stuff the Bus for Neighbour to Neighbour

Hamilton’s food banks are continuing to face a summertime shortage. To keep up with the city’s ongoing demand for goods, let’s give back by participating in Neighbour to Neighbour’s Stuff the Bus food drive.

Taking place at Freshco on Rymal and Upper Gage, help completely fill a bus with donated non-perishable food items. In previous years, this campaign has brought in over 33,000 pounds in food donations. If we work together, we can surely top that number.

The campaign takes place between 9 am and 4 pm. Please only donate non-perishable goods.

Endless Summer Festival

As an incredible send off to the summer season, Ancaster Fairgrounds is hosting the Endless Summer Festival.

With over 150 vendors, great live music, various food trucks to try and an exciting kid zone, it’s sure to be a fun filled day. The festival is for a great cause too – by attending Endless Summer, you’ll be supporting Lyme Disease Ontario.
