Here’s what’s happening in the city this weekend.
The Big Sing!
When: Friday December 13th, 2019 from 7 pm – 9 pm
Where: Fieldcote Memorial Park and Museum
Admission: $8
All are invited to join Fieldcote Memorial Park and Museum at the Ancaster Old Town Hall, 310 Wilson Street, for a Concert and Sing-a-long with Kaleidoscope Singers. There will be live music, hot cider, cookies and prizes.
Ancaster Christmas Craft Show
When: Saturday December 14th, 2019 from 10 am – 3 pm
Where: Ancaster Fairgrounds
Admission: $5
Christmas is in the air at the Annual Ancaster Christmas Craft Show. Mistletoe, garland, and the sweet sound of Christmas carols will fill the air. Find that Special something for that person in your life while supporting small business. Shop Local!
Barton Village Christmas Market
When: Saturday December 14th, 2019 from 10 am – 5 pm, Sunday December 15th, 2019 from 10 am – 5 pm

Admission: Free
Barton Village hosting its first-ever Christmas market this holiday season! Come see a curated marketplace featuring handmade and independently produced wares from some of the Greater Hamilton area’s most exciting vendors.
“It’s A Wonderful Life” Movie Screening
When: Saturday December 14th, 2019 at 1 pm, Sunday December 15th, 2019 at 1 pm
Where: Westdale Theatre
Admission: $2
The Christmas Classic It’s a Wonderful Life! Brought to you by the Merchants of Westdale. Join them all month for $2 Family Christmas Movie Weekends!
‘Twas The Night Before Christmas
When: Saturday December 14th, 2019 from 5 pm – 9 pm
Where: Westfield Heritage Village
Admission: $12 for adults, $10 seniors and $6.50 for youth
Enjoy Westfield by candlelight and feel the warmth of the season through music, food samples, fireworks, and a visit from Father Christmas. Christmas shopping is available at the gift shop and the restaurant will feature light meals and refreshments.
Punk Rock Flea Market
When: Sunday December 15th, 2019 from 1 pm – 7 pm
Where: Absinthe
Admission: Free
Who needs the mall and corporate big box mayhem during the holidays? Why not shop with your friends in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, while supporting local small businesses, keeping money in the local economy, and maybe have a drink or two while you’re at it!
Holiday Slam
When: Sunday December 15th, 2019 from 3 pm – 6 pm
Where: The Spice Factory
Admission: $5
‘Twas the night before the slam and in the factory of spice. Not a poet was snapping not once, nor twice. The mic stands were set on the stage with care In the hopes that soon, Poetic bars will fill the air!
