On the tour, you’ll visit four local breweries, receiving a flight of beer at each location. As the tour progresses, you’ll learn from different brew masters how to taste beer like an expert. At one of the locations you’ll receive a food pairing, and at a different brewery you’ll get a behind the scenes tour.

The tour begins at 12 pm and lasts 5 hours. Tickets cost $90 per person before tax and are available online.

Arkells Present The Rally

Arkells are throwing one epic party at Tim Hortons Field. The Rally, headlined by the Arkells, is an evening of song and dance that is sure to kick off your summer right. The concert will also feature performances by Ellevator, Bishop Briggs, and Cold War Kids.

Before The Rally starts, there’ll be a pop-up market at the gate one entrance to Tim Hortons Field. Presented by Hamilton Flea, there will be over 20 vendors selling everything from treats to merchandise to vintage goods.

The pre-show market opens at 1 pm, and doors for the concert will open at 5 pm. Tickets are still available and can be purchased online. One dollar from each ticket sale will be donated to Refuge Hamilton Centre for Newcomer Health.

The Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation is holding its inaugural Duck Dash at Wild Waterworks. The Duck Dash is a fun, family friendly way to raise funds for Joseph Brant Hospital’s Critical Needs.

Each purchased Duck Dash ticket will correspond to a numbered rubber duck. The rubber ducks will ‘race’ each other for a chance to win a selection of great prizes. The first place winner will receive a $1,000 gift card to Burlington Mall.

The Duck Dash falls on Wild Waterworks’ family day, which runs from 11 am to 3:30 pm. The Duck Dash starts at 3 pm, and tickets for the ducks can be purchased here. You must be a paid guest at Wild Waterworks to participate.
