Radical Space Making

At a secret location within the streets of our downtown core, come celebrate the radical influence that visual artists have had on shaping the city. At this one time only pop-up event, you’ll enjoy an evening of introspection and exploration as artists from Hamilton come to share their stories of profound transformation. Featuring a conversation with artists Cees & Annerie van Gemerden, Bryce Kanbara and Leon ‘Eklipz’ Robinson. Cash bar, raffle prizes, and tunes by Smooth Transitions, spinning wavy tracks until late!
Halloween Spooktacular
When: Friday October 25th, 2019 from 5 pm – 8 pm
Where: Gore Park

The leaves are changing and that means it’s time to start looking forward to one of the most fun & spooky times of year – Halloween! The Downtown Hamilton BIA invites you to join them at the Halloween Spooktacular in Gore Park. Find your way through the hay maze, try your hand at the Halloween prize wheel, personalize your own sugar cookie, and enjoy exploring the Fun House.
Haunted Halloween

Are you looking for a unique Halloween destination to have some fun with family and friends? The Village’s more than 35 historic buildings and beautiful rural location is the perfect setting for some fabulous Halloween fun. Lots of fun activities to enjoy including taking a trip down the Pumpkin Path to enjoy the glow of more than 200 carved pumpkins!
Spooky Saturday At The Market

Spooky Saturday is a celebration of the Halloween season happening inside the Hamilton Farmers’ Market. Many fun activities planned for the whole family to enjoy including trick or treating, face painting, pumpkin painting as well as a food drive. During your trip to the Market, grab your weekly groceries and stay for lunch. We have a wide range of vendors from produce, meats, cheese, to prepared meals, treats, and more.
Pumpkin Carving Party

Bring your family to carve a pumpkin at Dundurn National Historic Site and support Green Venture’s Hamilton Seedy Saturday and their garden programs! Explore the 1.5-acre Kitchen Garden and enjoy a scavenger hunt and outdoor games with costumed staff.
Decadent Downtown Food Tour

Society Of Beer Drinking Ladies

For their 2nd Hamilton bevy, join the Society of Beer Drinking Ladies for a Spooky Halloween Bevy at the wonderful Clifford Brewery! Clifford was just awarded BEST BREWERY in CANADA at the 2019 Canadian Brewing Awards. Clifford will also be whipping up a special Bevy Brew just for the event and will have tasty snacks from Smithers Sausages & Kitchen Island Desserts!
Haunted Hamilton’s Halloween Costume Ball

This is Hamilton’s biggest Halloween party! Haunted Hamilton’s Halloween Costume Ball is on this Saturday at the Hamilton Convention Centre by Carmens with your host, Spooky Steph! The event includes special guests, The DeLorean Time Machine, Hearsella, music, raffles, costume prizes, a buffet, a DJ’d dance, cash bar and more!

Punk Rock Flea Market
When: Sunday October 27th, 2019 from 12 pm – 6 pm

Who needs the mall? Why not shop with your friends in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, while supporting small local businesses. Maybe have a drink or two and a snack while you’re there! Free goodie bags with cool swag from the vendors to the first 30 people through the doors to help keep the event thriving! The Punk Rock part of this market is the idea of embodying the DIY ethos and celebrating anything handmade, vintage and local, as well as the inclusion of everyone – people of all ages and styles are welcome! Bring the kids – there will be a craft corner for their busy hands!
Dog Day Halloween

Join Grain&Grit Co. for a super fun and spooky Dog Halloween Costume Contest! Get in the Halloween spirit with delicious craft beer and cute pups in support of Ladybird Animal Sanctuary. Humans are welcome to dress up or pair up and collaborate with their pups! This is a family-friendly event, so they encourage kids to dress up as well! All event proceeds will benefit Ladybird Animal Sanctuary. Great prizes will be awarded to the contest winners!
The Hamilton 7: A Night Of Stories
