Apple Festival

When: Saturday September 28, 2019 from 9 am – 4:30 pm
Where: Battlefield House Museum and Park
Admission: Free

Enjoy a pancake breakfast, games, pumpkin decorating, demonstrations, entertainment, and don’t forget to enter the Battlefield Bake-Off.

Classics Of The Golden Age

When: Saturday September 28, 2019 from 9 am – 5 pm and Sunday September 29, 2019 from 9 am – 5 pm
Where: Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum

Enjoy fabulous classic cars including Chrysler, Ford, Hudson, Studebaker and Packard to name just a few, all blended in with our spectacular collection of vintage Canadian military aircraft all inside under one roof.

Etsy Made in Canada

When: Saturday September 28, 2019 from 10 am – 5 pm
Where: Lincoln Alexander Centre
Admission: $2 at the door OR bring an item to donate to our hygiene drive

Hamilton’s Etsy Made in Canada event is back for their 6th annual market! Etsy Made in Canada is a national, community-led initiative celebrating the makers, artists, and vintage curators in local communities. You can look forward to a carefully curated market with 35+ vendors, live music, food and beverages + more fun!

Tesla Electric City Festival

When: Saturday September 28, 2019 from 11 am – 5 pm
Where: Hamilton Museum of Steam & Technology
Admission: Free

Celebrate Nikola Tesla’s achievements at this all-ages gathering of commercial exhibitors, tech enthusiasts, hobbyists, science clubs, artists and students. Experience demonstrations by exhibitors and displayers, a vendor marketplace, music and entertainment. Engage in self-guided Museum tours and catch a ride on the popular miniature steam trains presented by the Golden Horseshoe Live Steamers.

The Great Gatsby Party Cruise

When: Saturday September 28, 2019 at 8 pm – 11 pm
Where: Hamilton Harbour Queen

The Hamilton Harbour Queen is turned into your speakeasy for the night. Step onto the red carpet and get ready to set sail for a night of entertainment. Dress in your best Roaring Twenties fashion — flapper dresses, silk gloves, tuxedos, top hats — and revel the night away under the stars out on the water.

Autumn Night Market & Sangria Sunsets

When: Saturday September 28, 2019 from 4 pm – 10 pm
Where: Ancaster Fair
Admission: $5 Cash only at the gate

Enjoy a glass of sangria, shop the best local handmade talent, and pretend that summer never had to end! Indulge yourself as the Ancaster Fairgrounds transforms into the social event of the year! Food, live music & more. Shop, sip & take a break on the patio lounge where you can listen to some music, enjoy some good eats and of course… a glass of SANGRIA!

Corn Maze Tribute

When: Saturday September 28, 2019 from 10 am – 4 pm and Sunday September 29, 2019 from 10 am – 4 pm
Where: Lindley’s Farm & Market
Admission:  $8

This year’s corn maze is a tribute to our NBA Champions — The Toronto Raptors! There’s 1.5 miles to explore with a friend or as a group.

Foad HP

When: Saturday September 28, 2019 from 9 pm – 10:30 pm
Where: Levity Comedy Club

Foad HP is an actor, comic, and writer from Toronto. He has performed at Just for Laughs in Montreal, Stand Up NBC in NYC, taped a set for Kevin Hart’s LOL Network, won the Toronto Comedy Brawl, and was a writer for This Hour Has 22 Minutes. He’s also made guest appearances on Nikita and American Gods.

Food Justice & Arts Festival

When: Sunday September 29, 2019 from 12 pm – 6:30 pm
Where: Hamilton Community Food Centre
Admission: Free

The Food Justice & Arts Festival, now in its second year, is a space for good food, local art, skill sharing, and community building. The Dish with One Spoon wampum agreement guides their work and reminds us that we are responsible to ourselves, to each other, and to the land and water. There will be free catered food, free events and workshops all day, as well as performances by local musicians.

Birds & Buildings: A Migration Story

When: Sunday September 29, 2019 at 2:30 pm
Where: Art Gallery of Hamilton
Admission: Free

Join staff and volunteers from Royal Botanical Gardens and the Hamilton Naturalist’s Club as they explore the amazing nature of Cootes Paradise and our city. Cootes Paradise is a migratory rest stop for huge numbers of birds each spring and fall as they move along the Lake Ontario shoreline. Small songbirds migrate mostly at night, and many perish by colliding with tall buildings along the way. Migration is at its peak now — learn more about bird migration and how you can be part of Global Bird Rescue!
