Winter Beerfest hits Burlington this weekend

Craft beer lovers will be hoppy to hear a festival of beer is hitting Burlington this weekend. 

Winter Beer Festival, hosted by Burlington’s own Nickel Brook Brewing, takes place on Friday, March 8th from 4 pm to 11 pm and Saturday, March 9th from 3 pm to 10 pm at the Holiday Inn and Conference Centre at 3063 South Service Road.

A selection of Ontario breweries, cideries, and distilleries will be on hand pouring a bevy of tasty libations including Nickel Brook, Fixed Gear, Craft Papi, Broadhead, Founder’s, Cowbell, Lake of Bays, Backed by Bees, Pure Spirits, and Dixon’s. 

Bites will be provided by the Holiday Inn’s resident restaurant Alloro, and attendees can keep themselves entertained by playing Waddies: a tossing game similar to Cornhole. 

Tickets for the 19+ event start at $20 and tokens redeemable for 6oz pours of beer can be purchased onsite for $3 each.
