World premiere Pollyanna musical opens at Hamilton’s Theatre Aquarius

A beloved children’s story is being brought to spectacular, tuneful life in Hamilton throughout December. 

Pollyanna  – a world premiere musical with music by Linda Barnett and book & lyrics by Steven Gallagher – is hitting the stage at Theatre Aquarius with its opening night on Friday, December 8th and running until December 23rd.

Based on the classic 1913 novel by Eleanor H. Porter, this heartwarming new musical follows its namesake Pollyanna and her infectious, radical positivity that changes the lives of those around her; a feel-good story perfect for the whole family this holiday season. 

Directed by award-winner Robert McQueen and featuring a thrilling cast of top talent from Hamilton and across Canada, Pollyanna further cements Theatre Aquarius as an exciting incubator of new Canadian musicals.
