20 Tesla Superchargers Being Installed at Limeridge Mall

Tesla owners rejoice! As part of the company’s rapid network expansion efforts, Tesla is feverishly putting together a Supercharger station in Hamilton that’s targeted to be open by the end of this year.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Supercharger network, these locations essentially serve as the gas stations of Tesla’s electric fleet of vehicles — except there’s no gas involved! If you own a Tesla vehicle, you simply roll up to one of the charger stations and plug in your battery at no cost to the driver.

The only downside is that it typically takes 30 minutes to add 270 kilometers of range, so it makes sense why Tesla would select the Limeridge Mall parking lot since there’s plenty to do nearby to kill time.

While you can plug in and charge at home, the purpose of the Supercharger network is to allow for long-distance travel without ever running out of fuel. With hundreds of new Supercharger locations slated for completion by the end of 2018, the incentive for drivers to purchase their own Tesla continues to grow.

Do you own an electric or hybrid vehicle? If so, what brand is it? Let us know in the comments below!
