A new spot for Caribbean food has opened in Hamilton

Hamilton’s Barton Village just got tastier, as a new restaurant & bar specializing in Caribbean cuisine has opened the doors of its newly renovated space along the Barton Street strip.
The restaurant, called Allure Lounge, is Hamilton’s newest eatery serving up a menu of traditional and reinvented Caribbean classics and fusion dishes alongside a swath of cocktails and other adult beverages.
The sneak peek of Allure’s menu on their social media is enough to get anyone’s mouth watering, featuring plates that look like they’ll be just as flavourful as they are colourful including Jerk Chicken Pasta, Ackee and Saltfish Bruschetta, and Lobster Poutine.
Though only open to the public for a short while, the reviews from Hamilton’s food lovers are in and they certainly flag Allure Lounge as a restaurant to watch.
“We recently got to experience the amazingly made food at Allure Lounge,” said patron Denise M. in a testimonial on Allure’s website. “The portions are generous. It’s not like other Caribbean restaurants/take-out, it has a little spin on it.”
