Some seriously tempting donuts are making their way to Burlington, and the whole menu is completely plant-based.
Bloomer’s is preparing to open its first Burlington location after years of success as a staple sweet shop in Toronto, where it originally launched as a family-run, fully vegan bakery in 2014.
I tried Bloomer’s #vegan #doughnuts @VegFoodFest, and here I am today, picking some up for my niece’s doughnut birthday party. Vanilla Sprinkles, Rose Pistachio, Banana “Not-ella,” Chococonut Love, Cinnamon Sugar, and Strawberry Chocolate. Yum! 🍩❤️#donuts #veganbakery pic.twitter.com/CUwytg1am9

Donuts are handcrafted daily in a wide variety of flavours and using only plant-based ingredients, with options including birthday cake, cinnamon sugar, rose pistachio, cookies & cream, peanut butter cup, wild blueberry, London Fog, strawberry shortcake, matcha, and many others.
A rotating seasonal selection rounds out the menu, with enough enticing flavour diversity to appease pretty much anyone.
The bakery’s popularity has allowed it to expand to numerous locations in the Toronto area, with the forthcoming Burlington location being the furthest outside of Toronto to date.
Opening sometime in early 2022 at 1401 Plains Road East, Bloomer’s is sure to become a popular local fixture and a go-to spot for something sweet!
