According to a special weather statement released by Environment Canada, the winter weather is expected to start tonight and continue into Thursday.
Snow will move into the area this evening and may become mixed with ice pellets before ending on Thursday night. There could also be a possibility of freezing rain in the mix too.
The statement says that there is still a level of uncertainty as to the exact track of the low that’s predicted to come from Texas and move towards the lower Great Lakes.
At this point, snowfall is expected in the range of 5 cm to 10 cm. Commuters should be prepared for a messy trip to and from work on Thursday.
