A vegan hot dog stand is opening in Hamilton

The simple comforts of a street-side hot dog stand are coming to Hamilton, with a bit of a twist.
Rainbow Dogs will be officially launching at the end of September, serving up a menu of simple-yet-delicious that also happen to be 100 per cent plant-based.
Vegan hot dogs are topped with fixings that are also free of animal products, including plant-based sauces and toppings like vegan cheese, plant bacon bits, and onions.
In keeping with the affordability of your standard hot dog cart, each one will only set you back $5 with the option to add a few premium toppings for a buck or two extra.
Rainbow Dogs’ grand opening is currently set for Friday, September 29 from 10 am to 7 pm and Saturday, September 30 from 10 am to 3 pm outside the Hamilton Burlington SPCA at 245 Dartnall Road.
This will mark Hamilton’s only vegan hot dog stand and we can’t wait to try their street eats out as they launch in a few weeks!
