Carrie Underwood will headline Built in the Hammer Grey Cup Music Festival

Hamilton is in for a treat: country music superstar Carrie Underwood has just been announced as the headliner for the upcoming Built in the Hammer Grey Cup Music Festival.

The music festival – running November 16th to 19th – will feature over 40 free and ticketed events, and was launched to accompany and celebrate Hamilton’s hosting of the 2023 Grey Cup, which takes place on November 19th at Tim Hortons Field.

Carrie Underwood hasn’t graced a Hamilton stage since 2016, and the acclaimed multi-award-winning musician’s return to the city is sure to be met with plenty of fanfare.

Underwood’s performance on Friday, November 17th at FirstOntario Centre is the first of more concerts by world-class musicians promised by the festival, which will be announced in the coming weeks.

Presale tickets to all Built in the Hammer Music Festival events, including Carrie Underwood, will open first to Grey Cup ticket holders before being released for the general public on September 30th at 10 am.
