Cheesecake on a stick has arrived in Hamilton

Chocolat on James always finds new and innovative ways to change Hamilton’s dessert game. Starting as a chocolate boutique, the shop has taken their confectionary knowledge and have incorporated it into their different desserts. The latest addition to the shop’s dessert selection is their chocolate dipped cheesecake on a stick.

To make this new dessert, the shop begins by taking a slice of vanilla cheesecake and spearing it with a wooden skewer. Once secure, they dip the cheesecake into melted chocolate.

After pulling the cheesecake out, they allow the chocolate to cool long enough to begin to form a sturdy shell. When the chocolate is close to setting, they add various whimsical toppings to take the dessert to a completely new level.

Make sure to take at least five seconds to marvel at its beauty before digging in!

Cheesecake on a stick is available in 14 different flavours. Whether you prefer sweet, salty, fruity, crunchy or anywhere in between, there’s sure to be a flavour for you to fall in love with. We really enjoyed Caramel Crisp, Cookie Monster and Blue Raspberry Crunch.

The Caramel Crisp is coated in caramel chocolate and covered with rice crisps, sponge toffee and a Dulce de Leche drizzle.

The Cookie Monster is coated in cookies n’ cream white chocolate and is covered in oreo cookies and edible cookie dough.

The Blue Raspberry Crunch is coated with dark chocolate, covered in dried raspberries and is drizzled with blueberry coulis.

While Chocolat on James is the first business to bring cheesecake on a stick to Hamilton, if you’re in the Toronto area you’ll want to check out Heirloom who started the trend.
