Chicken wing lovers were taken aback by the sudden closure of almost all Ontario locations for the popular sports bar chain Buffalo Wild Wings; including one in Hamilton.
The abrupt closures were met with little explanation or fanfare by the franchise, and included the Hamilton location at 524 Centennial Parkway North as well as locations in London, Ajax, Vaughan, and Oakville.

A few Ontario locations remain in operation currently: one in the Ancaster Meadowlands, and the others in Windsor, Barrie, Mississauga, and Oshawa.
Originally founded in 1982, Buffalo Wild Wings is an American casual dining chain with well over 1,200 locations across the United States. The chain now has only 5 Canadian locations in total, including its sole remaining Ancaster restaurant.
Buffalo Wild Wings, true to its name, is known for its chicken wings tossed in a wide variety of sauces as well as chicken sandwiches, wraps, appetizers, salads, and other sports bar fare.
