The Juravinskis – with numerous buildings in Hamilton bearing their name, including Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre – spent more than two decades making transformative gifts to important Hamilton organizations, including over $68.8 million in funding to Hamilton Health Sciences, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, and McMaster University.
Margaret and Charles were instrumental supporters of research towards medical advancements for child and youth health, cancer, COVID-19, integrated care, and so much more.
“Margaret and her husband Charles Juravinski were an unstoppable force, and Hamilton’s healthcare community will always be grateful for their generosity and compassion,” reads a message from Hamilton Health Sciences.
