Core Entertainment is postponing or cancelling all events to mitigate COVID-19

In an effort to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, Hamilton’s Core Entertainment has announced that they will be postponing or cancelling all forthcoming events until further notice.
The news comes shortly after a province-wide push from Ontario’s chief medical officer Dr. David Williams to cancel or postpone all events and gatherings of over 250 people, with expectation that minimizing large gatherings across the province and country will play a valuable role in slowing the spread of coronavirus disease.

Core Entertainment oversees all events scheduled at FirstOntario Centre, FirstOntario Concert Hall, and The Studio. All forthcoming events at all three venues are affected by the news, effective immediately, with steps being taken to reinstate as many events as possible at a later date.
“We are currently working to reschedule upcoming performances and will provide updates as quickly as possible,” explained Core Entertainment in a statement. “The safety and well-being of our employees, partners, performers, athletes, guests, and community is our top priority.”
Ticket holders to all upcoming shows at Core Entertainment venues will be contacted regarding the status of their performance.
