Cozy British-style eatery opens its doors in Hamilton

For those craving the warm, welcoming vibes of a British eatery, a new spot that opened late last year in Hamilton may do the trick.
Peabodys Eatery is now open at 165 John Street South, in the intimate restaurant space that previously held spots like cocktail bar Two Black Sheep and Japanese eatery Paper Crane Sushi.
Promising “food and drinks, without the fog,” Peabodys seems to capture the homey feel of a British pub with plenty of modern, playful touches in both the eclectic décor and the enticing menu.
The food offerings favour sandwiches, with unique takes on the Reuben, Monte Cristo, turkey club, and beyond as well as options like British baked pie platters, sausage rolls, and charcuterie.
Rounding things off is a selection of beer, wine, and spirits, making Peabodys an intriguing new entry into Hamilton’s restaurant scene.
