The inaugural Canadian Premier League champions will be decided by a two-legged final between Hamilton’s Forge FC and Calgary Cavalry.
Hamilton will host the first game on October 26th at Tim Horton’s Field with the second game being played in Calgary on November 2nd. The winner of the championship will be decided by the number of total goals over the two games.
Forge FC earned a place in the final by moving into first in the fall season with a win over Pacific FC on the weekend. Calgary already had a place in the final because they finished first in the spring season.

Calgary is currently in second place, just two points behind Forge. With only five games remaining in the season, the two teams are guaranteed to finish in either first or second place in the fall season.
Tickets for the championship games will be available this Friday.
Forge FC has played Cavalry five other times already this season. The two teams could enter the championship game on level terms with Forge having won two games, Cavalry having won two games, and the teams playing to one draw. However, Forge and Cavalry face each other two more times in the regular season.
