Hamiltonians might want to stay inside tonight, as some dangerous weather is on the way for this afternoon.
Environment Canada has issued an official storm warning predicting severe thunderstorms making their way through Hamilton this afternoon, with torrential downpour, frequent lightning, and even a possible isolated tornado forecasted.

The storm is also expected to be accompanied by strong gusts of wind with potential to do damage to standing objects, buildings, trees, and more.
This should go without saying, but locals would be smart to stay safe by avoiding the outdoors if possible and breaking out the board games until that vicious weather passes.
On the bright side, at least this might help relieve the heatwave!
