Gone are the days of hopping on the train mere seconds before rolling out of the station, because GO Transit has begun closing train doors to passengers a minute prior to the scheduled departure time at select stations.
Transit agency Metrolinx says the move – which went into effect on Monday, January 9th – is one that will help keep trains on time by making departures more efficient.
