The new Route 17 bus will depart hourly on weekdays from Hamilton GO Centre with a final destination of the University of Waterloo.
Along the way, the bus will reach three different GO Train Stations, the Waterloo ION LRT line, and four universities: McMaster, Guelph, Laurier, and Waterloo.
Up to now, there has been no direct line from Hamilton to Waterloo via GO Transit, and locals have needed to travel to another station in the GTA in order to access transportation to the Waterloo region.
The new Route 17 GO Bus will launch its weekday service beginning on April 8th, 2023.
