A coveted Hamilton spot for intensely flavourful charcoal chicken has opened a second location in the city.
Rony’s Restaurant, with its original location at 312 Grays Road in Stoney Creek, has been an intensely popular spot since opening in 2016, known for Middle Eastern-inspired takeaway food that’s simple and delicious.
The biggest draw is the chicken, cooked over a charcoal grill to give it an unmatched depth of flavour then served in wrap or plate form. But Rony’s also crushes it in the sides department, making some of the best fries in Hamilton alongside tabouli, homemade hummus, and yogurt sauce fermented in-house.
Hamiltonians who regularly make the drive out to Stoney Creek to get their Rony’s fix will be delighted to know that the restaurant has just soft-opened a second location at 1242 Upper James Street on the Hamilton Mountain.
Visitors can expect all their Rony’s favourites at the new location, made more accessible to those for whom Stoney Creek is too much of a trek. Go show them some love, Hamilton!
