Hamilton’s Fore Stagione hosts events with great food, games, and golf simulators

There are lots of event spaces in Hamilton, but few with as many unique features as Fore Stagione.
Located at 1070 Stone Church Road East, the restaurant and golf simulator first opened in late 2019 with the hope of becoming an in-demand space for private events of all kinds on top of its function as a restaurant and bar. Of course – a few months later – the pandemic had other plans.
“When I was allowed to be open there was a max capacity of 10 people, so it was hard for events to take place,” says owner Anthony Sabatino. “As soon as COVID restrictions ended, I blew up with booking events & parties.”
It’s not hard to understand the popularity. Fore Stagione harmoniously blends its two branches, with the restaurant space specializing in the perfect party foods: delicious Italian-style eats like pizza, panzerotti, gnocchi, and shareable pub-style appetizers like nachos and charcuterie. The bites are complemented by a stacked menu of drinks including classic & signature cocktails, domestic and craft beers, wine, and non-alcoholic options.
That menu is matched by Fore Stagione’s multiple Trackman 4 golf simulators: some of the best golf simulators on the market, used by casual hobbyists and serious golfers alike.
Not only do the golf simulators allow players to practice their drives and putts with incredible accuracy, they double as vessels for a wide variety of family-friendly games and activities including Nintendo 64 gaming with favourites like Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros.
The combination of great food and fun activities has turned Fore Stagione into a hot spot for birthdays, weddings, work parties, corporate events, baby showers, retirements, holiday gatherings, and beyond, with custom event bookings happening year-round for groups as small as 20 people or as large as 100.
“We’re not your typical event space where you’re renting an empty hall or room,” adds Sabatino. “We have golf sims, a patio, TVs showing sports, and a really great vibe & atmosphere that can change to suit the type of party you’re having.”
