This time of year sees a lot of flooding in natural areas as a mixture of rain and melted snow runoff causes water levels to significantly rise.
The Hamilton Conservation Authority says that elevated water levels, faster moving water, rapidly changing water levels and flows, and slippery banks pose a significant risk. They recommend that the public stays away from the area.
