Hamilton craft beer and wine bar closing its doors

A tucked-away Hamilton bar and bottle shop known for its well-curated craft beer, natural wine, and more has announced it will be closing the doors of its current location.

Endless Bar & Bottle Shop first opened in Hamilton at 1203 Cannon Street East, just east of Ottawa Street North, back in February of 2022.

Owned by Tej Sandhu of Hamilton’s MERIT Brewing, the tiny bar space seats barely a dozen people (or a little more when their alley patio is open), while featuring shelves of the best Ontario craft beers and international wines, including low-intervention and experimental bottles you won’t find at the LCBO.

However, in spite of two great years by Ottawa and Cannon, Endless has announced that it is sadly closing this iteration of the business as of March 14th.

“Our lease is up and while we’d love to stay… well it looks like that won’t work out” said Endless in a post on social media.

“Our goal has always been to ‘graduate’ from this space to a larger one, and continues to be. The transition from Endless 2.0 (1.0 was in Toronto for those of ya who missed that era) to Endless 3.0 unfortunately won’t be seamless so for now it’s farewell.”

While it’s sad to see Endless close for the time being, we’re eager to see where they take root in the city next! In the meantime, pop by Endless at 1203 Cannon Street East by March 14th to grab those last bottles!
