Hamilton’s outdoor public pools are ready to make a splash once again.
The city has announced that it will be re-opening all outdoor, city-run public pools starting today – Monday, June 28th – providing a perfect antidote to the ridiculously hot summer weather.

With the exception of the pool at Inch Park, which is set to open on July 5th, numerous public pools across Hamilton are open to the public once again, including the outdoor pools at Ancaster Lions, Birge, Chedoke, Coronation, Green Acres, Rosedale, Victoria Park, and Walker.
The usual COVID-19 protocols are still being observed, including strict capacity limits, health screenings, mask-wearing while not in the pool, and enforced physical distancing measures.
Wading pools will also be reopening, with the Dundas Driving Park wading pool open on June 28th and the remaining wading pools city-wide scheduled to reopen on July 5th.
Select city pools, including Parkdale Outdoor Pool, Memorial Wading Pool, and Kinsmen Park Wading Pool will not open at all this summer due to maintenance and construction projects.
