Handmade Hamilton’s holiday market is happening

You know what they say: you can never have too many Christmas markets. Especially when one that’s particularly awesome is making its way to Hamilton next week.
Handmade Hamilton, an organization that bolsters the work of the Hammer’s best artists and artisans, is hosting their annual Holiday Craft Show and Sale at The Staircase on December 7th and 8th from 11 am to 5 pm.
Each year, Handmade Hamilton takes over the spaces on every floor of The Staircase to showcase dozens of booths that feature locally-made jewelry, accessories, textile art, ceramics, art pieces, clothing items, and beyond. If you live by the #shoplocal philosophy, there’s pretty much no better time or place to finish your holiday shopping this year.
If you’re one of the first 25 people through the door on either day, you’ll receive a free screen-printed tote bag, beautifully handmade by local artist Jordynn Mackenzie Maitland. But even if you’re not one of those lucky 25 people, there will certainly be plenty of locally-made awesomeness to brighten your day, courtesy of the 32 vendors at the Handmade Hamilton Holiday Craft Show!
The Holiday Craft Show and Sale, hosted by Handmade Hamilton, takes place on December 7th and 8th from 11 am to 5 pm at The Staircase. There is a $2 entry fee per person for admission.
