Here’s how you can drive a Zamboni in Hamilton

Although Hamilton is under COVID-19 lockdown right now, you can still envision a bucket list for when restrictions are lifted including a rare opportunity to drive a Zamboni. 

Core Entertainment will be offering a Zamboni 101 experience at FirstOntario Centre in 2021 for those looking to get behind the wheel of the iconic ice cleaning machine.

The session includes a lesson of driving a Zamboni as well as a tour of the FirstOntario Centre and how they create and maintain the ice.

While there are tight lockdown restrictions across the city, finalized dates and times have not yet been announced due to the changing parameters of COVID-19 and demand for tickets.

Tickets start at $100 per person and includes driving the zamboni on the ice as well as a comparative photo of you riding the Zamboni.

It is noted on the Core Entertainment website that unfortunately the Zamboni is not able to be modified for accessibility, but those with accessibility needs are still welcome to the class and tour.
