An impaired Hamilton driver was caught and arrested in the most unexpected of ways.
Hamilton Police shared that the driver was observed driving erratically in the area of King Street and Nash Road just before 4 am on Wednesday morning, striking a curb and damaging the left front wheel and serpentine.
The vehicle, conveniently, made its way onto the front lawn of the Hamilton Police East End Station, driving off the grass and down the ramp to the rear parking lot of the station.
The driver then managed not to hit any parked police vehicles, guiding their car neatly into a parking spot where police found them with drug paraphernalia and arrested them on the spot for impaired operation.
“Talk about parking in the wrong spot at the wrong time!” wrote the Hamilton Police about the incident on social media.
